I had been planning on trying to be one of the brave few who ride their bike all winter but as you can see above, that’s just not going to happen anymore. Going out can be a gamble these days. Istanbul
Aah Istanbul…city of spires and wonderful singing alarm calls as the call to prayer wafts over the expanse of the old town. We arrived the night before the show and checked into the wonderfully named Hotel Londres…one of the old traditional Istanbul hotels - full of Ottoman furniture and beautiful chandeliers illuminating the gorgeous bar/ reception room. I am sitting eating chocolate..very rare for me as I actually am not a chocolate person at all..must be the snow factor…have been snowed in deepest wales for 10 days BUT the broadband works so i have already booked flights to Berlin for 2 weeks time, There is so much to do…so much and sometimes I feel phased-out by it all and just think I should ride my horse over the hills and forget...
